My contact sent me a public PGP encrypt key. How and where do I use it?

You would take the public key you received from them and copy it into FlowCrypt Settings -> Additional Settings -> Contacts -> Bulk import.

After that, use Secure Compose to send them a message.

If you received their Public Key over email, FlowCrypt should automatically detect this and offer you to import it.

Also, most of the time, you don't need to do this at all - just try to put their email into Secure Compose, and it may find their public key automatically.

FlowCrypt (formerly CryptUp) simplifies email encryption (PGP) so that anyone can use it. It's available for Chrome, Firefox and Android. Learn more
