Search for Keys on GPG

Q: Do you plan to make keys available via gpg –search-keys?

FlowCrypt is GPG compatible in terms of exchanging emails, but we don’t have plans to directly connect it to GPG.

Most people either don’t have GPG installed or don’t want to go through the trouble of installing it. Besides, we don’t think Chrome extensions have a way to directly interact with it anyway.

You can export the public keys from GPG using the gpg –export –armor command.

After that, you can import it in the FlowCrypt Settings ⮕ Additional Settings ⮕ Contacts ⮕ click Import public keys.
