About FlowCrypt
FlowCrypt was first released in 2015 to address the horrible state of email encryption usability. Things have since been improving, thanks to the efforts of other companies in our industry as well. We’re working and striving towards a day when there is no usability difference between encrypted and plain unencrypted email. This will enable anyone who cares about their privacy to use it easily. We’re completely self-funded. No venture capital, outside investments, or government grants. We earn our revenue from enterprise sales plus a handful of personal or SMB customers who upgrade to a paid plan.
