View the Send and Receive Overview guide to get more familiar with sending and receiving encrypted emails. |
When you send someone a password-protected email (typically recipients who don’t have any encryption software installed), the recipient will need the password you used to send the email.
Recipient’s side
Opening password-protected emails is a quite simple process. You can do that by following these steps:
1. When the recipient opens an email, there will be an Click here to Open Message button:

2. This button will take the recipient to a page where it’s required to enter the message password:

If there were any attachments, the recipient will be able to download them.
